Doi Pha Mon is a viewpoint where you can see the endless sea of fog in a 180 degree view. The way up to this viewpoint is quite steep and dangerous, so you have to take a ride with the local’s car there with a fee of 500 Baht for the round trip.

The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the viewpoint where you will need to walk another 300 meters. You will see an endless sea of fog that flows through from Thai to Lao.

From this viewpoint, you can see the endless Khong River that flows between the border of Thai and Lao.When the tide is low you will see small islands that will peep up. The sunrise here is very beautiful and romantic.

Phu Huai Isan is another spot that has the best sunrise view with a sea of fog. You can come to the viewpoint by the local’s E-Tak car.

There is a secret spot for the sunrise here. And while waiting for the sunrise, you can purchase food and beverages from the locals. The secret spot is located a few steps from the banana forests.

At this viewpoint, there is a wooden bridge that leads out to the front of the mountain where you can take beautiful pictures. Enjoy the orange sky of the sunrise that shines on the white fog.
