  1. Lalu, Sa Kaeo

Lalu is an amazing place in Sa Kaeo which is created by nature. It is a natural phenomenon caused by rainwater which creates erosion at the top of the soil until it becomes a strange and beautiful soil shape similar to cliffs and city walls.

 

The best time to visit is in the morning or evening because during that time, the sunlight will shine perfectly on the beautiful golden clay sculptures. During the nighttime, you can also take a ride on the villagers’ E-Tak car to gaze into the stars here as well.

             2.  Grand Canyon Khiri, Chonburi 

 

In the past, ‘Grand Canyon Khiri’ is an old gravel pit that has been abandoned for many years in an area of over 100 rai. The pond has emerald green water and is surrounded by mountains. It is uniquely beautiful because of its dusty, rocky mountain.

There are many beautiful photo spots here, but the highlight is the snowy mountain or the dusty mountain. Even though it is not really a snow mountain, it is equally beautiful as the snow mountain especially if you take photos of the view with the sky.

But for those who will take photos, don’t forget to bring sunglasses and dust masks as the mountain is full of rock dust. Inhaling it too much can cause some harm to the respiratory system.

          3. Ban Nam Rad Watershed Forest, Surat Thani

 

A large natural aquarium in the middle of the forest where you can swim in the fresh crystal clear water. It is a very unseen place that nature has created.

The sunset viewpoint “Kong Lan” or Pai Canyon is one of the tourist attractions in Pai that should not be missed. This area is caused by the collapse of the ground and the erosion of water which created a ridge on the mountain.

The surrounding area is very beautiful, especially during sunset. The light is stunning and you can sit and chill to admire the view.

A natural attraction that combines the adventure of horseback riding with the nature trails. If anyone doesn’t know how to ride, there are basic horse riding lessons available.

Both sides of the route are full of the beauty of nature from forests to mountains. The recommended spots to take photos with horses are the gray-brown rock cliffs and dry gravel roads.

A viewpoint where you can clearly admire the scenery of Thailand, Laos, Burma, and the Mekong River.

A meditation place for praying and exploring the beautiful 37-spired Maha Chedi, Bodhipakkhiyadhamma Chedi Phet, which is little known among tourists. The temple area is covered by various forests, so the atmosphere is cold all year round. The mist mist is perfect for refreshing.

  1. Wang Sila Laeng, Nan

‘Wang Sila Laeng’ or what the villagers often call it ‘Wang Bok’ is an area of rock that was caused by the Goon current flowing through it every day and causing erosion for a long time, resulting in a cylindrical rock.

You can clearly see all the 7 basins and cliffs during the dry season and can take a nice swim. It is recommended to visit in the winter from October to December when the weather is cool and the water is very nice.

  1. Sam Phan Bok, Ubon Ratchathani

A large rock islet on the banks of the Mekong River has been eroded into many basins and holes of various sizes until now. The best time to visit is from November to early May, where each rock islet emerges out of the water for us to see in the middle of the Mekong River. Each rock is not equal in size and shape, creating a unique view.

The most popular landmarks here are Mickey Mouse-shaped holes, heart-shaped holes and dog head-shaped holes. You can also come and watch the sunrise in the morning.

A guide will take us tour throughout the area with the cost starting from 200 Baht. If anyone wants to take a cruise to see the beauty of the Mekong River, they can rent a boat at the bottom of Sam Phan Bok. The price is about 500 – 1,000 baht, depending on the size of the boat and the cruise program.

‘Earth Pillar’ is a beautiful natural sculpture in Pha Taem National Park which occurs naturally by the erosion processes of water and wind.

This stone resembles a giant mushroom and is about a two-story building high. The surrounding area of Earth Pillar is filled with mixed forests. This is one of the most interesting landmarks ever for travelers who like to take photos.

‘Phu Pa Po’ located at Ban Pha Wai in Loei Province. It is known as Loei’s Fuji mountain with a viewpoint about 900 meters above sea level.

There are 4 viewpoints here. The highest point offers a 360-degree view with the best sunrise and sunset spot in one place.

The atmosphere here is uniquely beautiful in different seasons. In summer, you can see the fields and mountains in golden yellow color. During the rainy season, you will see the lush green mountains along with the rice fields of the villagers. If you come in the late rainy season and early winter, you can see golden rice fields in the middle of the valley. But if it is in winter, you will find a white mist that covers the view of Phu Pa Po.
