This place is known as ‘the Guilin of Thailand’ and is perfect for those who love a slow lifestyle with floating accommodations. The weather is particularly pleasant during the late rainy season and early winter.

🏔 Located in Khao Phang Subdistrict, this dam is a clay core rock-fill dam with a height of 95 meters and a length of 700 meters. The dam crest level is 100 meters, with over 100 islands in the water. It is the second multipurpose dam in the southern region, used for electricity generation, agriculture, and fisheries. Visitors can cruise to enjoy the tranquil scenery of the lake above the dam, surrounded by steep and uniquely shaped limestone mountains.

Points of interest within #RatchapraphaDam #KhaoSok include ‘Khao Sam Kler,’ a limestone hill with three peaks arranged in a line in the water, which serves as the symbol of Ratchaprapha Dam. The area is surrounded by complex, steep limestone mountains and lush green trees 🌳⛰, creating a stunning emerald, green water landscape.

‘Coral Cave’ is located in the 500-rai area of the Ratchaprapha Dam, managed by the Huai Tham Chan Forest Protection Unit of Khao Sok National Park. It is called Coral Cave because the stalactites and stalagmites inside, formed from water sediment, have a unique appearance resembling small coral branches underwater due to the concentrated limestone and special air conditioning, making it look stunningly similar to an underwater scene.

The beautiful scenery captivates and impresses tourists, encouraging them to visit this site continuously. #RatchapraphaDam #KhaoSok can be visited year-round, with each season offering unique beauty.
