Baan Tham Sue Homestay is nestled amidst the mountains in Kaeng Krachan district, Phetchaburi province. Surrounded by lush forests and the fertile Phetchaburi River, it serves as a learning center for organic agriculture. The community offers a variety of activities, including crafting Butterfly pea salted eggs, embarking on rubber boat excursions, participating in cooking sessions with locals, experiencing homestays or tent camping, engaging in seed bomb molding and shooting, creating organic fertilizer, and exploring the establishment of a community tree bank. The tree bank initiative involves collaborative efforts to plant economically viable and rare forest trees. These activities aim to preserve the community’s environmental balance and attract environmentally concerned travelers and learners. Additionally, the community has embraced the concept of Carbon Neutral Tourism, where travelers contribute to environmental sustainability by following the community’s carbon-neutral travel route.
