Exploring the World of Coins at the Coin Museum Treasury

The Coin Museum, under the Treasury Department of the Ministry of Finance, is Thailand’s largest numismatic museum. It houses an extensive collection of over 4,000 items, featuring both Thai and foreign coins. Notable exhibits include the first Thai flat round coin, the largest Pod Duang (an ancient Thai round coin shaped like a grub), and a foreign coin with the embedded DNA of a living being. By utilizing various technologies, the museum provides an interactive and creative learning experience. With Universal Design in mind, the museum boasts a comfortable learning space and inclusive facilities.
