The location that was used for the World Horticultural Expo in 2006 at the Royal Agricultural Research Center in Chiang Mai, Mae Hia Subdistrict, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province, from November 1, 2006, to January 31, 2007, under the name “Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006,” was an event in which Thailand achieved great success. It has since been developed into a learning center for horticulture and a tourist destination for agriculture and culture in Chiang Mai Province and Thailand.
