Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden

The Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden in Mae Rim district, Chiang Mai province, is a beautiful destination for learning and enjoyment. Located 27 kilometers from the city center, it features various attractions, including Canopy Walks, the Glasshouse Complex, a pathway following the Royal Walk, and several educational trails. The garden is a significant tourist spot in Chiang Mai, offering a unique blend of educational and recreational experiences.

Activity

  • Canopy Walks are nature study trails above the treetops, the longest of their kind in Thailand, stretching over 500 meters and standing more than 20 meters above the ground. They offer a beautiful panoramic view of the treetops.                     
  • The Glasshouse Complex, the largest of its kind in Thailand, showcases a variety of plants in greenhouses that resemble their natural habitats.                     
  • The Natural Science Museum is a building that hosts permanent and rotating exhibitions, providing knowledge about plants, natural history, biodiversity, and the environment.
  • The Organic Learning Center is located within the nursery area of the botanical garden. It is a comprehensive organic farming center that provides guidance on organic plant cultivation and soil preparation.

Foreigners: 50 baht for children, 100 baht for adults.

** Note: Children under 3 years old/Monks/Clergy/Elderly (Thai citizens)/People with disabilities enter for free. Entrance fee for vehicles.
