เตรียมตัวให้พร้อม และออกเดินทางไปกับรถคู่ใจ! การขับรถท่องเที่ยวข้ามแดน เป็นอีกรูปแบบหนึ่งของการเดินทางที่เปิดโอกาสให้นักท่องเที่ยวได้เดินทางอย่างเนิบช้า (slow travel) ใช้เวลากับการ ดื่มด่ำบรรยากาศ วิวทิวทัศน์ที่สวยงาม และวิถีริมทางที่แตกต่าง พร้อมเรียนรู้จักวัฒนธรรมของประเทศเพื่อนบ้านที่น่าสนใจ สะท้อนผ่านสถาปัตยกรรม ศาสนสถาน บ้านเรือนและผู้คน
แผนที่ Thailand-Malaysia Self Drive เกิดจากความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยและ มาเลเซีย เพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวขับรถข้ามแดนระหว่างกัน และส่งเสริมปี Visit IMT-GT (Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle) Year 2023-2025 โดยเชิญชวนให้นักท่องเที่ยวไปเปิดประสบการณ์ขับรถท่องเที่ยวเชื่อมโยงพื้นที่ภาคใต้ของไทย ทั้งจังหวัดที่ติดชายแดนมาเลเซีย และจังหวัดที่ต่อเนื่อง รวม 8 จังหวัด ได้แก่ นครศรีธรรมราช ตรัง พัทลุง สงขลา สตูล ยะลา ปัตตานี และนราธิวาส กับรัฐของมาเลเซีย 4 รัฐ ได้แก่ รัฐเปอร์ลิส เกดะห์ ปีนัง และเปรัก
ซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยแหล่งท่องเที่ยวทางธรรมชาติที่สวยงาม และสถานที่สำคัญที่สะท้อนวัฒนธรรมที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของทั้งสองประเทศ ทั้งยังมีความสะดวกในการข้ามแดน พร้อมสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครันตลอดเส้นทาง
ซึ่งถือเป็นโอกาสอันดีในการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ทางวัฒนธรรม และเชื่อมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประชาชนทั้งสองประเทศต่อไป

Cross border tourism is another choice for travelling, that creates a good opportunity to feel the slow travel, different scenic atmosphere, and authentic ways of life, illustrated through architectures and people, along the journey.
This fun map guide, Thailand-Malaysia Self Drive has been created under the cooperation between Thailand and Malaysia to promote the mutual cross-border tourism and celebrate the Visit IMT-GT (Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle) Year 2023-2025. This invites all tourists to start their unforgettable adventure by driving to the Southern Thailand, visiting border provinces and nearby destinations; e.g. Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Satun, Yala, Pattani, and Narathiwat. Then continue to the connected states of Malaysia; e.g. Perlis, Kedah, Penang, and Perak. Along this journey, visitors can experience both countries’ beautiful natural sceneries, and authentic culture, and will be provided with equipped facilities.
