The Dinosaur Research and Museum Center, or Phu Wiang Dinosaur Museum, located in Wiang Kao District, Khon Kaen, is a key national educational resource. It showcases geological and paleontological exhibits, particularly about dinosaurs that once lived in northeastern Thailand. The museum was established following the discovery of significant dinosaur fossils in Phu Wiang National Park, marking the start of systematic dinosaur research in Thailand. The museum features fossil exhibits, including full-scale dinosaur skeleton models and fossils from various species found in Thailand. It also recreates the prehistoric atmosphere, allowing visitors to step back in time. In addition, the museum serves as a research hub and offers continuous learning activities for students, youth, and the public, inspiring them to explore science, nature, and history.
