Phu Kradueng is a renowned national park located in Phu Kradueng District, Loei Province, Thailand. It is characterized by its unique table-top mountain shape, with a vast plateau at the summit that features expansive grasslands and rich mixed deciduous forests.

The mountain rises approximately 1,316 meters above sea level.
Its most distinctive feature is the cool climate year-round, with temperatures in winter sometimes dropping below zero degrees celsius.
The hiking trail to the summit spans about 5.5 kilometers, and typically takes 3 to 6 hours to complete on foot.

The main hiking trail to the summit stretches approximately 5.5 kilometers, taking about 3 to 6 hours to complete depending on each individual’s readiness. Along the way, hikers may encounter various forms of wildlife that inhabit the park.
One of the highlights is watching the sea of mist and the breathtaking sunrise or sunset at scenic cliff viewpoints such as Pha Nok Aen, Pha Daeng, and Pha Yiap Mek.
Don’t miss the waterfalls, including Tat Hong Waterfall, a majestic 40-meter-high cascade flowing over a rocky cliff, or Phen Phop Mai Waterfall, where fallen leaves float beautifully on the water during winter. Another gem is Phon Phop Waterfall, a peaceful retreat ideal for relaxation and solitude.

Opening Hours

Tourist Season Closure:
Phu Kradueng National Park is closed to visitors from June 1st to September 30th every year.
Tourist Season Opening:
The park is open from October 1st to May 31st, daily from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM. After 1:00 PM, no visitors are allowed to enter or hike up the mountain under any circumstances.
