Khao Phra Wihan National Park

The park offers stunning landscapes, including the Pha Mo I Daeng viewpoint, where visitors can admire expansive forest vistas and witness breathtaking sunrises. Additionally, the area is home to several historically and culturally significant archaeological sites, such as the low-relief carvings beneath Pha Mo I Daeng, the Twin Stupas, Don Tuan Temple, and the grand Khao Phra Wihan Temple, which is a large religious monument situated atop the Phanom Dong Rak mountain range.

Activity

Activities include nature walks, exploring historical and cultural sites, bird and butterfly watching, and stargazing at night.
Visitors can enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding areas, such as grasslands, forests, and rivers, with sights extending across the border into Cambodia.
Cultural tourism related to the Khmer civilization is also available, along with opportunities to learn about the local community’s way of life.
Camping is permitted in designated areas within the park for those who wish to experience nature up close.
