An old market with a glorious past tied to its riverside community location, serving as a key trading hub along important river routes. The main highlight is the “Old Police Station Building of Sapphaya District Police,” which was constructed during the reign of King Rama IV. Every first weekend of the month, the riverside road along the Chao Phraya River in the Sapphaya Old Market community is closed to vehicle traffic and transformed into the “Sapphaya Old Police Station Night Market,” featuring local vendors and shops from the community.
