Wangkrot Historic District

It is known as the legendary Dragon’s Belly of the Nan River due to its history of thriving trade for over a century. The community is distinguished by its old wooden row houses, known as the “Ban Kao Wang Klom” or the “Community Information Center,” which provides information and highlights various attractions within the Wang Krot community, including local food and culture. Additionally, the Wang Krot Shrine serves as the spiritual center for the residents.

Activity

Experience the daily life of the local villagers, shop for local foods and products, and participate in community workshops such as tea roasting, tie-dyeing, and making keychains.
Visit the community market held every Saturday, featuring a traditional dance performance and stalls selling food and drinks.
Cultural tourism programs are also available, including learning about the community’s history, making tea from jujube leaves, and staying in homestays.
