Natural and Historical Diversity

Important Butterfly Habitat: The park is home to over 500 species of butterflies. Especially during the rainy season from May to July, the butterflies appear in great numbers, earning the park the nickname “The Butterfly City of the Eastern Forest.”
Pang Sida Waterfall: This waterfall is about 10 meters high, with water flowing year-round. It is also an important butterfly-watching spot, particularly during the rainy season.
Viewpoint at Kilometer 25 and Buta Pod Grassland: Buta Pod is a wide grassland inhabited by various wildlife species such as wild elephants, gaur, barking deer, deer, and wild boars.

Activity

Nature study walks, waterfall visits, plant observation, bird and butterfly watching, and camping.
The Pang Sida Butterfly Festival features butterfly puppet contests and puppet parades (early June to July). Visitors can also enjoy butterfly photography exhibitions and watch butterflies at various spots within the park.
Exploring the nature trails and visiting waterfalls, Pang Sida National Park is an ideal destination for nature and wildlife lovers, especially during the butterfly festival when a wide variety of butterfly species can be seen.
