Mueang Kao Sukhothai Community Based Tourism Club

Experiencing Authentic Local Lifestyles. The club’s area of operation covers communities surrounding the Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that holds great historical and cultural significance for Thailand.

Activity

Riding the tram to learn about history in Sukhothai Historical Park with local wisdom keepers, traditional stencil painting on fabric at Baan Preeda Phirom, making local sesame dessert (“Kanom Kra Daek Nga”), and making “Farmers’ Custard” are among the featured cultural experiences.
Merit-making and rally activities: Visitors can participate in almsgiving on the “Bridge of Merit” and join fun rally events within Sukhothai Historical Park.
Cultural tourism activities: The club organizes experiences that connect travelers with local ways of life and traditional wisdom, such as visiting Ka-ne-cha House, Preeda Phirom House, and Phi Fon’s House.
